"Unlimited" plans: what the providers say about limits
Unlimited plans often slow down after a daily amount of data. These are the providers' own statements.
Holafly
No fixed data cap, but 'data coverage and speed may be subject to a network service provider's fair use policy'. Some operators may reduce speeds after a certain high-speed data limit; per Holafly, 'this is not a restriction applied by Holafly' and the reduction lasts no more than one day. No numeric threshold published. Hotspot is capped (1 GB/day) on daily plans even though data is 'unlimited'.
sourceSaily
Regular unlimited plans: full-speed allocation per 24-hour period (local midnight to midnight), then reduced to 1 Mbps for the rest of that period; full speed resumes at next reset. Ultra plan: 30 GB full-speed per monthly billing cycle, then 1 Mbps. Saily may also apply traffic shaping/throttling during high demand or in specific locations, and may reduce speeds, remove allowances or disconnect eSIM for misuse. Prohibited: commercial use/resale/groups, bulk M2M, continuous streaming replacing fixed-line, excessive tethering.
